While the cat was away

April and May were incredibly full months, and I've not had a chance to write here. But I hope soon to spend some time reflecting on some continuing education experiences ("The Clergy Leadership Project" and "Upward Bound") and my most recent pilgrimage to sacred places in Europe and the Middle East.

A week ago, while our group of pilgrims steamed westward in the Mediterranean, somewhere between Greece and Sicily, the good people of St Marks met together for Trinity Sunday. (Without me! How COULD they???) Our Deacon brought the sermon for the early and middle worship services, while one of our members, known best to our congregation for his choral contributions, brought the sermon for the late service. I've just read the text, and loved it. ("Way to go, Charlie! Well done!") I commend it to you as well. To find it, click here.

The Lord be with you,
