Silence...?

Because of the huge shift in what I was thinking about, I stopped posting here when I hopped a plane to Iraq in 2010. For some time thereafter, I posted my observations and reflections on http://contemplative.posterous.com/

Around Easter 2011 I finally decided I was ready to begin work on a book on Christian discipleship -- which is focused on my understanding of Jesus and his invitation to follow him. I quickly found I couldn't keep up with both.

So from April 2011, I've been silent on the blogs, and trying to stay focused on the book. At this point I plan to continue to do my writing offline, behind the scenes.

Friends who want to keep up can check in on Facebook... which doesn't takes as much time, energy, or thought.

I'll be back eventually.
